What is the 4 hole AMPS pattern?

The AMPS hole pattern is another industry standard screw hole configuration. This screw hole pattern consists of four holes spaced at 30mm x 38mm (or 1.181”x1.496”). AMPS screw hole pattern is compatible with MOST third-party mounting solution companies. 

How Does the AMPS pattern Work?

Before mounting your tablet in the holder, fasten the AMPS plate to the back of the holder using the included hex screws and Allen Wrench. It is important to secure the tablet holder to the AMPS plate before putting the tablet into the tablet holder.

What is the VESA pattern? 

VESA is simply an acronym for Video Electronic Standard Association. Great, but what does that mean? VESA is the name of a screw pattern that monitor manufacturers agreed to follow for the sake of compatibility. The holes on our mounting brackets line up with the holes on VESA-compatible monitors.

How Does VESA Work

The VESA pattern is compatible with iBOLT’s mounting brackets. iBOLT accommodates  75×75 and 100×100 VESA screw patterns. The numbers "75x75” and “100x100” are simply the distance between the screw holes measured in millimeters. The measurement of the VESA pattern goes hand in hand with the size and weight of your monitor. VESA is widely recognized as an industry standard, be aware that Apple does not adhere to the VESA standard.
