iBOLT Moto-Vise™ Holder w/ 25mm / 1-inch Ball

I already had the sandbag base and arm with the ball to hold my old phone for maps when traveling in rental cars.Got a new phone with larger dimensions. Was glad to get just the phone grasping portion.

Super strong grip. Works very well. And isn't bulky or an eye-sore (ram mounts). I can see this phone holder working great with off-road & overland drivers. My only complaint is you need to use both hands to attach & take off. Quality product nonetheless. I also ordered iBOLT arms for the phone mount, they're awesome.

This is mounted to my windshield using a RAM suction mount. The iPhone X fits both with and without an Otter case, and in both cases extended vibration (washboard roads) doesn't cause any slippage within the mount. It's easy to either mount or unmount the phone, or adjust its position, without disturbing the suction cup mount.

The spring is VERY strong. The action to put a phone in and out of it isn't easy. It's basically a leveraged, 2-handed maneuver. If you need a phone holder for boating or off roading or maybe sky-diving, this is the grip for you. If you just need a grip for the car like I did, this is probably over-kill.

I purchased this to replace the Ram Mount X-Grip I have in my Tundra. I'm constantly losing the rubber pieces on the X grip plus the top 2 mash the value and power button on my iphone so it's constantly trying to make an emergency call.This thing is an easy swap with the 1 inch ball. It grips my phone really well. I wouldn't say it's the jaws of life or anything like other reviews mentioned. Really good for a truck.
